About 1/3 of a pound of chemical fertilizers and pesticides are used to produce a single pound of conventionally grown cotton fabric. Many of these chemicals find their way into the soil, air, water and the food we eat, adversely affecting all associated life. As a manufacturer, Article.1 recognizes its role and responsibility in helping the environment, and thus has created the Organics line.

Our 100% cotton Organics collection offers a unique selection of
colors. Article.1 uses Reactive Dyes which offer brighter colors and are environmentally friendly.
With every process used to produce Article.1’s superior fabric our Cotton Bale tracking capability provides a completely transparent view of the manufacturing process from the bails of cotton to the finished garment.
Article.1 is working with farmers using sustainable agricultural practices with the association and support of Patagonia®, and industry leader in environmentally conscious garments.

The end result is premium cotton that is grown organically and profitably, without the use of synthetic fertilizers or pesticides.
